Analyzing the quote “A great trader is like a great athlete. You have to have natural skills, but you have to train yourself how to use them.” – Marty Schwartz
I understand what Mr. Schwartz is trying to say. Practice makes perfect. It’s true because that’s how the human brain works.
I just don’t know what does “natural skills” mean. Patience maybe? Obviously one’s physical parameters are not important here. So we are talking about the brain again. So, in a way, it’s all in your head.
In fact, I do believe it does not matter what kind of natural skills you have.
For me, it’s all about the right information. Patience in trading with price action at analyzethisfx.com is pointless without knowledge. Trading is a science and everything about trading has a logical and a scientific explanation. When the right information is explained in an elegant and a clever way it’s even sweeter. That is price action for me.
This kind of information destroys doubt, fear and greed and makes everything clear. You know what you are doing and why you are doing it, every step of the way. Then, the sky’s the limit.
